This is a perfect example of stating something as fact that just isn’t. Skewing information so that others believe what you’re saying. It’s just entirely false. Franklin has visited Miami TWICE, not several times, in June. One for a camp and one for an OV. So one more time than he’s visited UT. And per anyone who works in the industry, including Wiltfong who hates us, says we’re in the drivers seat. It’s not absurd to look at the recruiting situation without orange glasses on, Franklin has visited Miami several times in the month of June, and they are rumored to be bringing the house in terms of $ for him. Ross has been considered a toss up between us and UF for a while now, and all of his twitter interactions are with UF fans, maybe it is something to take with a grain of salt, but it just makes me think he is leaning towards UF

Florida mod says we lead.
Doesn't matter if it is the head coach or an assistant that brought (brings) in the players. The talent must be present for SEC & National Titles.. nobody is out-coaching the best teams.I agree he’s a very good game day coach and offensive mind but a elite recruiter? I’m not sure. But then again Steve Spurrier was never a great recruiter he didn’t really like to recruit.

Except for Heupel, last year, when he beat 2020 national champs Alabama, 2019 national champs LSU and 2018 national champs Clemson? All three of those schools also averaged top 5 recruiting classes leading up the last season.Doesn't matter if it is the head coach or an assistant that brought (brings) in the players. Trust in CJH is certainly there.Outside of UGA, who do you think the Vols couldn’t beat last season?
And while I understand that means not winning the SEC or a national title, the program was gutted when Heup took over. Last year (a year where we could’ve beaten damn near anyone - genuinely interested to hear everyone’s thoughts on what other teams we could not beat - maybe OSU? Idk) happened in Y2 of what was considered a complete rebuild.
How people (not saying you) don’t trust the dude yet is baffling.
“nobody is out-coaching the best teams.”Trust in CJH is certainly there.
I thought we were talking about what it takes to win this league, which is to defeat UA & now UGA too. Both in recruiting and on the field.
Well that’s not entirely accurate, is it? Haven’t come close to sniffing Bama in recruiting rankings and beat them last year. And will beat them again before without surpassing them in recruiting rankingsTrust in CJH is certainly there.

We beat Alabama, LSU and Clemson who all had higher ranked recruiting classes than Tennessee over the last several years. We just need to be in the neighborhood in recruiting. Recruiting is not an exact science.I don't have to Google anything. We taking credit for beating Clemson in the orange bowl like it was Trevor or Watson out there. Alabama was and is a glorious victory.
Yet we are still not close to Georgia, on field, or in recruiting. I don't believe we will beat them by scheme. At this point you can call it what you want.
Florida was great when they won under Spurrier. So were the teams that you mistakenly thought I needed to Google.
Tennessee wil win again (winning being SEC or National Titles) when we have great talent again (the same reason we won back in 98-99).
Honestly, I don't think we need to beat Alabama or Georgia in recruiting to beat them on the field. We just need our roster's overall talent to be just a little closer to theirs. Heupel is that good as a game day coach. This is already an established fact for Bama. We'll eventually get Georgia too. We just need to keep improving the roster.Trust in CJH is certainly there.

But we will continue to gain in recruiting as we keep winning! This class right here is going to be a solid top 10 possibly knocking at top 5’s door when all is said and done. 6th-8th range looks very possible. I also don’t understand why people like to act like there’s no possible universe in which we could have beaten Georgia last year. They played one of the better games of their season and we played our worst on offense. Offensive line was discombobulated and Hendon and the receivers didn’t have a stellar day either. Part of that is attributable, obviously, to how good Carter, Ringo, et al were, but part of it is more variable: the crowd noise causing penalties and communication issues, UGA seizing the momentum early on, etc. It isn’t axiomatic that Georgia was just so vastly superior we could never have beaten them, and yet that’s the narrative for the concern trolls.“nobody is out-coaching the best teams.”
You’re trying to misdirect because you’re flat wrong. We were talking about what it takes to win, you’re right. And clearly we have what it takes to win. Heupel has out-coached the most recent best teams. I’m so sorry he hasn’t beaten the minor league NFL team which is UGA the last two years. You’re being negative for absolutely no reason.
Hence your screen name
And the field was wet. If we lost to uga like tcu and oregon did, then I would be concerned. Idiot rece davis (I believe it was him) try to compare our lost to uga with oregon n uga.I also don’t understand why people like to act like there’s no possible universe in which we could have beaten Georgia last year. The weather conditions and the crowd muddied the game up to where it came down to us not being able to overcome them physically. And the field was wet. UGA and UT struggled with that the rest of the game
