Not that unusual for a coordinator to be the least involved in recruiting. They tend to be more high level scheming...some are last minute closers at best...others are extremely quiet and just all focused on the Xs and Os, development, and current players.Anyone else find it strange that we never hear recruits mention Banks when speaking about the coaches they have relationships with

I did also, ended up at a small D-1 school(Arky ST) but spoke to the OC 2nd most outside of my position coach. The DB coach was the assigned area(Memphis) recruiter so talked to him quite a bit as well. Miss those days man, even tho I loathed the small town atmosphere in Jonesboro, AR. Had a opportunity to walk on at MS State with Croom as coach but ultimately passed on it. Wanted UT so bad, didn't deter my fandom at all though. He’s never spoke about, Golesh is spoken about quite often. Even my own recruitment, I spoke to D-coordinators all the time.

@SugarCC @Cosmo Kramer ok technically yes — I meant composite 5 star. Because Nigel Warrior was a 5 star on Scout so he could be on the list, too. And Kyle Phillips wasn’t a 5 star when we signed him, but when 247 absorbed Scout they retroactively adjusted rankings which made Kyle a composite 5 star if you look back, which is cool.Kongbo was a 5* on Rivals.
