'24 MO TE Jaden Reddell (Georgia commit)

I have to splash cold water on my face occasionally to make sure I'm not dreaming when I see Tennessee neck-and-neck with Bama and Georgia on all these elite recruits
Oh, don't worry. They are having to slap themselves because they know we have the momentum. Just wait until the end of recruiting season and see who has the red a$$ then. We will be spanking those dogs and elephants.

Book it! This one is over. Another L on the trail. The mutts know he's the better tight end, that other TE flipped because he knows he'll be fighting for playing time against Reddell. This is a done deal. This is another instance of us not closing the gap on Georgia. I hate it, but is what it is.

The buzz: Jaden Reddell is pretty open about his recruitment. He wants to make a decision before his senior season, and he has turned his focus to Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. Reddell is planning to play football in the SEC. He was back in Tuscaloosa over the weekend and things went well, but the Crimson Tide have some ground to make up based on my intel. Georgia and Tennessee are fighting for the top spot on Reddell’s list. The offense Tennessee runs and the tight end production in Athens have the Bulldogs and the Vols in a good position. He will visit Athens and Knoxville in May before returning in June for official visits.
Simmons Scoop: Tennessee is a hot name in the Midwest

Alec Abeln worked in Virginia and Charlotte early in the week before checking in on Jaden Reddell on Thursday morning. Reddell is down to UGA and Tennessee in our opinion. Alabama is technically still in play but we feel like they are a distant third. We wouldn’t be shocked to see him not even officially visit Tuscaloosa. He is going to be back in Athens the third week of May and then back in Knoxville for Memorial Day weekend. From there he will head to Nashville for the On3 Elite Series event. What Dylan Raiola does could impact Reddell. We don’t think he is a lock for UGA if Raiola picks Georgia but we do believe that helps their pitch. On the other hand, if Raiola goes elsewhere, Tennessee becomes a big leader in our mind.

It definitely sounds like TN leads but the pull of QB to GA could have big impact. Well considering we have Nico he will play as a freshman were the GA QB commit will be several years that is how I'm selling him. In CHRIST Alone

Bowers winning the Mackey Award is also a good selling point for them. Maybe we can hold them off, he'd be a nice piece.

Has any of the guys who cover TN football gave any indication he is a Vol?
AP said that if the QB didn't go to GA we were prohibitive favorite but now we know QB did commit to GA giving them reasonable chance which tells me he likes TN the most but QB is a big draw.

Georgia is going to be hot this season. Going to be talking about a three peat, rolling high in recruiting, be undefeated with that cupcake schedule when they roll into Knoxville. Can’t overstate how much we need to kick their ass this year at home if we want to take that next step.

Would you take a loss at Bama or against ATM if it meant beating Georgia? I think I would.

How can QB be big draw. So he thinks llamova is worse. That’s not even a thing

This is how I heard it explained. Raiola is a guy that is Reddell's age, that Reddell knows and has been going to these camps with and is tight with. He doesn't know Nico like that. No one is saying he thinks Nico is worse.

Of course if it meant winning against Georgia and in theory winning the rest bc it puts you in the sec title game. That said I don’t ever feel good about losing to Bama.

It’s always a big draw in the class. Georgia will get theirs; they are the best recruiting team right now in the nation. The fact that Tennessee is head to head with them on so many is a good thing. Clemson went through a similar period before they started winning the majority of the recruiting batttles.

I'd be more concerned about which team is going to be able to scheme around getting me open.

I could only imagine the numbers bowers would have if he wore orange.

Imo Georgia doesn't know how to use him.
I mean one of the best players in the country only had 7 touchdowns and had less than 1000 yards. Sure they used him sparingly in the run game but imo they should've gotten him the ball alot more.

Georgia’s offense is run heavy which is why they’ve always been able to pull Elite RB’s every year.
