'24 MO WR Ryan Wingo (Texas commit)

I think we see that change this year with Lovett, Thomas, and Smith and having a QB that can actually push the ball down field consistently. With Mike Bobo you never know though. Thank God Monken left. Hiring him was the game changer for them that got them over the hump. He was undoubtedly one of the top 10 play callers in college football
We don’t know if they have a QB that can stretch the field better than Bennet. We just know they have some highly rated options. Something UGA has ALWAYS had yet Bennet out-performed them all. I expect regression in Athens. Hell they almost have to regress. Can’t get much better.

I’m not sure why a highly rated WR would commit to UGA right now when they appear to run almost everything for their TEs and RBs. Also they don’t know who the QB will be.

2 CB's to Georgia this morning. What happened with the momentum we had or do some think we are still in good with him just need to get him back on campus? Thanks and I will hang up and listen.

Getting Wingo or Matthews is a huge recruiting win. Getting both spells disaster for the rest of the SEC.
Getting Matthews would be great, losing Wingo not so bad CJH recruiting WR position great Harrell to me may be just as good as Wingo in the long run

Georgia landing any recruit shouldn’t surprise anyone. They’re back to back national champions. It will be tough to beat them head to head for anyone.
Fair, but we just had a Biletnikoff winner and will have two WRs taken in the 1st or 2nd round. Georgia’s top guy hit the portal. It’s frustrating to lose out to them on a receiver in a way that it wouldn’t be to lose on a linebacker or DT.

I mean, the NFL will find you wherever you are and no matter your production. Kids want to win, and as much as I hate Georgia and Alabama those are still the most sure fire guarantees for seeing a college football playoff berth in one of your 4 years in school. I can’t blame anyone for choosing them.

We just have to keep winning and have some sustained success and the recruits will follow.
