I get what you're saying. I can "pull" for several teams each week...depending on who they are playing and how it could benefit the Titans. I also like to see all our VFL's do good.

The only NFL apparel I own is Titans.

Why don't you like the Titans? It admittedly takes a little getting used to, but the NFL is a rather cool game. Different from Knoxville but interesting.

No. Just because I support a player and who he plays for doesnt mean I wear their colors. Theres only room for one team in my closet, and thats the Titans.

Right, I was thinking the same thing. The only shirts / hats / etc I own are Vols and Titans. But if it was a meaningless game for the Titans...Peyton in the Super Bowl for example...I was rooting for PM.

it comes down to being a fan of a player over the team. I am a Messi fan more than a Barcelona fan. if he were to jump ship tomm i would have to as well. no shame in that. being a fan of a player over a team is not a sin.

I'm a college football fan. I think that most (not all) but most guys who play the college game play for the team and the school for which they represent. The pro game in my perspective is a money game. I love the Vols and hate the fact that in the mid state area the Titans have taken print, radio, and tv time from my Vols.

Also may I add. Were any Titan fans here Houston Oiler fans? In my mind that is who they are. The Vols have always been the Vols.

Interesting point here. Never looked at it that way. Thats what you get for living in middle Tn though. :)
