Anyone see anything how much money was made by UT for allowing the concert at Neyland? Any idea how such funds will be distributed?

I’d suspect it must be a large amount to do this during football season.

Think we could name the field after Morgan Wallen?

Slap yourself repeatedly, then hang a sign around your neck asking for people to slap you as hard as they possibly can. Walk around your town for a whole day letting people slap you.

Maybe then you won't have any more stupid ideas like this.

If you think about it….
$300 per ticket average and 100,000 people is $30 million. There were two shows so up to $60 million for tickets alone. If UT only got 6 million for the venue, that’s not very good.

They said total attendance was of over 156,000 people. It set a new record for attendance over a weekend besting the Jackson 5 in 1984.

156,000 and say take the highest priced ticket at 2K and the lowest priced at say 50 bucks and find the average means...for argument sake it shakes out at $150.
So that's 156,000 x $150 = $23.4 million !!!

If UT got 6 and say re-sod cost 1 to 1.5, that means Wallen's people got to divide up about 16 mill...craziness !!!

You have deduct expenses such as ushers, security, setup, etc. the net would not be close to that.
