$300 per ticket average and 100,000 people is $30 million. There were two shows so up to $60 million for tickets alone. If UT only got 6 million for the venue, that’s not very good.

I paid 550 for tickets to take my mom and had a ball. Didn't realy care for dude before the concert but I'm okay with him now. Just the merch sales alone has to be ridiculous. That stuff was sooo over priced and they were selling out of things left and right.

I was selling cokes for football that year and got to sell at the Jacksons show. They told us if we wanted to sell till the concert started , then sit and watch we could. First time i ever saw lasers used at a concert.

But, sure makes me feel better about paying $44 for seeing Gene Watson concert October 12 at the KY Lake Opry, and hearing real country music!
