so we basically had about a 1 and 1/4 episodes of the psych ward - I understand the need for digging into who this guy is and why he is what he is but that's a lot of screen time on that issue compared to the bigger story line.

I find it entertaining but this would make more sense if there were another 7 - 10 episodes coming.

Overall....the finale was ok. It didn't blow me away.

While I agree, I still really enjoyed it (and the show overall). It definitely made we want to see more of this character, especially

When they were alternating between Steven and Marc in the fight scene, really well choreographed with the camera shifting away and back

Agree with your spoiler. That said, I'm not familiar with this character, other than this show. I can't wrap my head around how any of this will play into a crossover with any other marvel movie/show. It may happen, I just can't see it at this time.

so does everyone think the 3rd version of Marc in the post credit scene is the one that goes ape shizz on everyone in the fight scenes where Marc/Steven black out or is that still another personality of Marc that is still sworn to Konshu? I'm also curious about why the characters all seem to be in the pysch ward - is that something that happens to Avatars?.

That is indeed the third personality.

And don’t be confused on the psych wards. The one Marc/Steven were in wasn’t real, it was the afterlife. The one at the very end that Harrow was in was an actual psych ward, like in real life. They weren’t the same place.

I've watched up to the last episode and while I did not like it to begin with episodes 4 & 5 I thought were pretty good. Gonna hit up the finale this weekend. That being said, not a fan of 6 episode shows because I am always left wanting more..like the upcoming Obi Wan series..I know I'm going to want more.
