I'm a Prime fan no doubt. I like the guy.He has his quirks and spots to improve, but he's also a pretty stand up guy all around.I've always been a Deion fan. I don't really like anything happening in CU, but I'm not a hater...this is rock bottom, IMO. This is worse than going 2-10. The hype train was fun for a minute, but I don't think anybody's been having fun for the last 11 months, and they're a laughing stock. Deion is not capable of building a real program because his behavior alienates too many people. Everybody appears disposable except his sons and Hunter.
If you're 2-10, you always have the hope you can get a new coach and move on. It's not that bad. We are going to remember this Deion thing forever.
Ehhhhh...I'm not so sure NFL franchises are looking to raise a manchild.
Caleb didn't arrive with an intermingling parent though. A Sanders kid will. And Shilo to a lesser extent since he's not the favorite, and that'll bring alot more head issues.Like 005 said, it was the same debate with Caleb Williams and he went #1.
Russillo talks about this all the time, but NFL and NBA front offices can and often will talk themselves into thinking they can fix any guy, no matter how broken (if there is talent).
Consistently being an 8-win team, even in a reconstituted/weakened Big 12, won't be easy for them. They aren't a historically stronger program than Arizona St, BYU, Utah, or West Virginia, and in more modern times you can argue that Iowa St, Kansas St, Oklahoma St, TCU, UCF, and maybe Arizona have advantages that Colorado does not. Kansas and Iowa St have been horrible over the years, but currently have really good head coaches. Kansas St has been a persistent overachiever ever since Bill Snyder got them running in the mid-90s. As long as Gundy is there, Oklahoma St will be one of the better teams in that conference. TCU and UCF have huge recruiting advantages over Colorado.Kinda like UF people thinkin there was UF football before Spurrier.
Colorado had a 4-6 year run. Before and after, not so much. But, no reason not to be an 8 win program.
Agree. Regardless of who coaches there you still have to convince players that Bolder is a destination and CU is the place to be. There's not a school you listed that should ever finish worse than CU. CU had their chance to shine in the PAC12 and still couldn't. You only really had to beat 2 teams.Consistently being an 8-win team, even in a reconstituted/weakened Big 12, won't be easy for them. To get to 8 wins, you really need to be going .500 or maybe a little better in conference play, but that will be hard for them unless they hit a home run with a head coaching hire.

I'm not sure I see the talent with shadeur. I think daddy is the main reason he's even considered. But NFL franchises make terrible terrible personnel decisions all the time so who knows.
I would have loved to see Shadeur in another system. I think he is good/great, but playing on a bad team and not getting the best coaching to be really elite.Yeah, maybe not. 69% passer with 32 TD's and 5 picks and he's dual threat. He doesn't have an especially strong arm but a good one. I see no red flags except the maturity.
And if he's this productive in a BS program with enablers, then wait to see what we can do with him when we get him into our building.

There is a report out there that:
“A year later and the fight song doesn't even play in the stadium after the quarterback throws a touchdown. Deion Sanders told the band they couldn't play if his son Shedeur Sanders scores a touchdown so that the loudspeaker can play a recording of his son's song "Perfect Timing."
Disclaimer: I have not verified if this is true.
As a non-biased observer, my think box says Sheduer has a ton of upside, cause he's accomplishing what he has at CU despite the O-Line.I'm not sure I see the talent with shadeur.
