If you want to read this drivel for yourself, here is the link.

ESPN hates us

If you don't want to give that guy clicks, here is the screenshot. "Tied for the national lead". Forgive me, but isn't 15>12? They are preparing everybody for giving Hyatt the shaft.

They already fixed it to say Big Ten instead of national. Still dumb, he had a great season but Hyatt is clearly the best this year.

I'd gladly join a "Boycott ESPN" movement, but the SEC sold our souls to the devil with their new contract. We are stuck with those clowns for the next few years.

It is truly crazy. If we are voting on the best WR in the Big10, then I'm all for voting for him. Somebody needs to tell them this is a national award.

Per Connor O'Gara on SDS:

Would I vote for Hyatt? Probably, but this is a prediction. Based on the way awards week started, I can absolutely picture Tennessee fans pointing to the fact that Hyatt has Harrison beat both in receiving yards and touchdowns. Both were expected to be the second options, but injuries to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cedric Tillman opened the door for that. Harrison might get the benefit of the doubt because of his degree of difficulty associated with his catches. I expect Vol Twitter will have some thoughts on that.

I put in bold what will be the most accurate prediction of the awards season.

So this guy's argument is that you penalize Hyatt because he was better at getting open than Harrison Jr? That's literally the best thing any WR can do.

Same Ohio St that played one hard game at home and got beat by 22 points and is in the playoffs off a loss and no division win.

Difficulty of catches is not a stat.
Harrison is not even the best receiver in his conference.

It is the Lynn Swann argument.
Why is Swann in the NFL HoF?
The most yards he had in a season was 880.
His weighted career avg is 943rd since 1960.
He won 4 SuperBowls with the Steelers.

Yet he is in the HoF because he made some circus catches in the NFL Films highlights we all watched as kids and was on great teams.

I guess they’re finally admitting Stroud is a crappier qb? 😂

I know, right? Technically, MHjr benefitted from playing with a Heisman finalist QB whereas Hyatt did not. Although, of course we all know that is a load of garbage.
