I hope this makes Herbi cry himself to sleep tonight. He put on a good show early this season faking admiration for CJH and TN’s turnaround, up until the GA game anyway when he made his true feelings known every chance he got.

Hate all you want Kirk, and tell all your tool bag friends at ESPN that the Vols are here to stay whether you like it or not.

Congrats to Hyatt. Very deserving to a guy that worked hard on his craft this offseason. Shows us all what hard work will do for a guy that just put his head down and went to work. Proud for him. Go Vols beat Clemson.

You all are so obsessed
My favorite was a couple of years ago when Peyton was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and his speech and induction was third in the lineup instead of being last. People on here lost their **** because they thought ESPN had once again given the middle finger to him and Tennessee. Only to find out that he requested to go third.

Haha. I’m shocked that haven’t suggested that Peyton’s MNF show being on ESPN2 is a conspiracy. They probably think the actual game should be on the Deuce and he should be on ESPN.

Obsessed with ESPN having it out for UT I mean.
Meh idk. I’d like to think I call out BS wherever I see it. I’m fine with Hooker not winning the Heisman; hell I can even see a case for not inviting Hooker as a finalist. There’s no case for Bennett being there. There’s absolutely no case for Harrison Jr over Hyatt statistically.

In other news Hooker finished ahead of Bennett in AP POY, #4 vs #5.

USC QB Williams voted AP Player of the Year
This just proves how regional and political the vote for these awards are at present.
Do I think HH should have won all the awards, No.
Do I think he earned the right to make an appearance at the Heisman, Yes.
Still burns me up to see P Manning lose based on a political campaign to generate viewership for ESPN.
ESPN is all about the money and how they can generate drama for $$$$. Nothing more and nothing less.
It works and Tennessee bashing is good for their business. Why, because Vol fans are going to continue to call them out Rightfully so for doing what they are doing. I don't see it changing no matter what.

The interesting thing I read today was that Manning was left off of 110 ballots and Woodson was left off of 88 ballots. How can this be fair to either?

Those are 1st, 2nd and 3rd place votes that never came into the equation in the final vote tally.

ESPN doesn’t have total autonomy over these awards. Herbstreit said Hooker and Hyatt should have won last night, many espn guys said Hooker should have been a Heisman finalists and Manning should have won it. ESPN doesn’t co trol aloof voters on the Weet Coast, in Midwest, Northeast who want their region represented and watched little SEC football.

This is true. However, Herbstreit has been consistent his his attitude against Tennessee since !998. I still have not respect for anything that comes out of his mouth.

Haha. You’re reaching. I remember listening to him on Basilio in 1999 before the Florida game and he was glowing about Tennessee. He glowed about them after being here. There are hundreds of college football teams. When a team is doing good things, they usually get talked about. When they do bad things or stupid things, they may get talked about in a different way. I don’t think the guy hates Tennessee. I think he and other get annoyed with the fanbase due to the way a ton of people harass them on social media for stupid reasons.

Not reaching. I have heard him enough to know how he operates.

Haha. Ok, thanks for the inside scoop, because I haven't listened to him for 25 years either. Vols fans are 1 of many fanbases that think he and the other media guys hate them. Enjoy the persecution complex. It's not a fun way to go through life, reading into people's motives, assuming they have it out for you/your team, etc, but you do you.

I’m just glad he beat Bennett. Good points
