Grad Transfers are always risky to me they don't get the spring practices, they really just get the summer to learn the playbook and by in. Im really hoping Pruitt goes the JUCO route, plug and play guys with experiance

I would think a grad transfer would have more experience than a JUCO. Both would have to learn the playbook. Also, most do not enter school in January, and are here for the Summer sessions.

A grad transfer is a more experienced version of a JUCO, only without grade concerns.

To oversimplify...

there's a reason the JUCO is a JUCO, and there's a reason the graduate is a graduate.

That said, each one is an individual, and his past doesn't necessarily predict his future. Each will have to prepare his future daily in the present.

(I know... these are not deep thoughts) :glare:

I agree 100% they all have a chance to make an impact just want to see Pruitt take the Vols in the right direction post Butch era. I meet a Juco guy at my good friends training facility, elite athlete at the juco level plays linebacker, told me most guys were under recruited, but theres a grade stigma associated with it when most were full qualifiers. Really had no idea about it I didn't know these guys are getting SEC offers thought it would help more group of 5 schools.

Which tells you the roster is in shambles

I don't believe that to be true. It tells you there is talent with a few holes to fill.

If you have a terrible roster and don't expect to win much, you sign, play, and develop freshmen.

With the talk of how hard the workouts have been I'm surprised we haven't heard of some leaving already.

Think it's just a matter of time. Really wouldn't shock me if it starts happening shortly after Spring Practice starts. It's definitely not a matter of if but just how many. JP alluded to being quite a few not long after he got hired. I'm betting 6-8 but purely a guess just based off his comments.
