Who’s butt****ing the constitution? There is nothing in the constitution that prohibits restricting who can vote.

The fact that you only want a certain economic bracket of the country to vote goes against the basis on which this country was founded.

Maybe you and Jxn can move to your own island and vote between the two of you who gets to be the power bottom.

Actually restricting voting to certain economic brackets would be returning to the basis on which this country was founded.

You should have taken a history class or 2

Actually it was up to the states to decide.

But hey, I'm arguing with a guy who only wants males with property to be able to vote. Thank god the vast majority of people don't think like you.

I fit your requirements as a voter. I just think it's incredibly restrictive and stupid. Surprising? Not at all.

I basically lived in San Francisco for 6 months in 2017. It is a great irony to me that the state is supposedly full of mother earth loving conservationists.

Probably the second most beautiful place I've been to outside of Northern Norway... Reduced to an absolute **** hole that had me counting the days to get on that plane and leave.

True it was up to the states. So your original comment was still ********.

Run along now.

Run along? You're the moron trying to roll back the clock 100 years lol.

Go back to chugging cialis and cheap whiskey. It suits you to be sedated.

We’d be better off if only the vested had a say.

If I had my way we would adopt the starship troopers model for citizenship.

You realize that was a globalist federation, right?

Israel would be more your speed, but you know both ST and Israel include women, right?

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? If women can meet the standards let 'em fight.

Running out of steam are ya?

Then you'd catch people like me selling property off my land by the square foot.
Ha Ha, how many of the people you sell that property to would then trade it for a joint or a hit this weekend? You are correct that there would be people that would be willing to sacrifice something to vote...and they should but, if you had to own property for a year to vote there's a lot of people that would never trade even a small sum of money for that opportunity.

Just getting started. I'm still not the dingleberry who thinks women shouldn't vote.

I can go with women voting, I think the 19th amendment was a mistake but what's done is done.

This country will go the way of the Roman Empire unless we make changes in who is eligible for citizenship and to vote.

I don't see it happening. The Roman Empire's downfall came with it's vast spanse. No civilization is meant to man that many borders. We'll be just fine. We built this country on immigration and shaping it on the backs of people coming here for opportunity.

That was back when manual labor was in dire need. Today not near as much needed.

I just don't know if there's a comparison to be drawn between Germanic incursion and Mexicans.

Germanic incursions is not what felled the Roman Empire, it was internal rot.

And to your earlier post, the US over a million square miles larger than the Roman Empire was at it's peak.

Germania incursion was every bit as internal and culturally based.

And we're almost exactly 5 times larger in population and have only 2 (maybe 3) borders to maintain. The US geography is about as advantageous as it gets.

The Roman Empire destroyed itself.
