More on CIA guys and Benghazi

I could give a rat's arse about Hillary - wanting to know answers and see some accountability on Benghazi isn't about winning elections; it's about wanting the government to be at least somewhat transparent and accountable. Taking responsibility is about so much more than saying I take responsibility.

Hillary's true colors arrived publicly when Bill was elected and she forced herself into the limelight by heading up his socialist healthcare commission. That push got him killed in the next mid-terms, so she ran from the public view to avoid association with that miserable failure and played legit lesbian wife.

How dare Romney for bringing it up during the debates. It is only resulting in Obama's biggest foreign policy decision of his presidency. No big deal.

100 percent traction with people who were not going to vote for her anyway.

0 percent with everyone else.

This may be close to the reality of things, but it doesn't mean the scandal isn't noteworthy. It could just mean the "everyone else" column is full of ignorant people.

I felt the same way about the Valerie Plame story and the firings of the US attorneys.

the difference being, of course, is that nobody's death was a part of those "phony" scandals

Can you recall any administration being transparent and accountable ?

The us atty thing was no big deal. Outing a CIA agent for political gain pretty bad, IMO.

Valerie seems to have bounced back pretty well. A book deal, a movie starring Sean Penn, and knowledge that an innocent man was scapegoated and tossed in jail.

Sending your husband who was not qualified to investigate uranium allegations then having him be national security advisor for the Kerry campaign and writing an op-ed about what he found (on a CIA mission) is pretty bad too.
