No it doesn't. He got nervous in front of camera. He was excellent when they werent rolling.

I am not a bush fan, but friends of friends actually worked in his administration and I work with big libs in Oregon and Washington who hate him but said he was surprisingly excellent.

I am more and more inclined to agree with you on Bachman. Pelosi is only somewhat brighter than Palin, though that is not saying a lot.

Why because it's the truth? We all know Palin is dumber than a pile of rocks and Pelosi just likes to push her own agenda no matter how liberal and ridiculous it is (which is not a good thing).. What in the world has Bacchman done to demand any respect frOm voters? She made a huge deal about voting no against the debt deal for what reason.. To try and appear "strong"? At least when Palin first came around she energized the GOP.. I don't even think Bacchman has the respect from her own party, let alone the American people.

She presents herself better(Bachmann). I agree with little she proposes. Palin just makes a fool of herself.

This is one of the better characterizations of Pelosi I've seen. Even if she is smart, she gives no quarter when it comes to the classically liberal agenda. As a consequence, she many times comes off as inflexible and as not having thought through the wisdom of what she is saying (or lack thereof).

When did I ever promote Pelosi as a good politician? She is merely the lesser of the three evils in my eyes. And if you believe Bacchman standing up and saying no to the debt deal was a show of strength you must be crazy.. That was terrible timing to try and stick it to Obama, with 3/4 of her party being on board and the country just hours from default.

Being very liberal is no justification for simply parroting the standard mantras any more than being very conservative is a reason to rigidly adhere to right wing ideology.

By now, it should be pretty apparent that the old concepts of the way that our economy works, and the way we interact with each other and the government, have to be reexamined. Technology has advanced so far so fast in the last decade or so that its time everyone give up on their comfortable world views as outdated.

There is no place for classically liberal or conservative anymore and people have to be willing to be fiscally conservative and socially liberal -- and to bear the brunt of the criticism they will get from their partisan friends who haven't yet reached that inevitable conclusion.

I've taken more thought out deuces than Palin's responses to questions. She sugarcoats her less-than-acceptable answers with "go america!" and "guns and religion!" and this somehow satisfies the right. When she starts taking politics seriously, I will take her seriously.
