I know this if off topic and late coming in, but why would installing a minimum wage kill jobs or an industry?

The salary is more so employers can afford to hire less workers?

SGM, you are exactly right.

I did a paper on the subject some years ago for a college English class. The statistics I found (I admit this was at least 10+ years ago) were very minimal. This is an excuse that is so overhyped for pro-abortionists. The number is so slight that it isn't even worth worrying about.

with respect, I don't know many "pro-abortionists". They are "pro-choice" and respect women's right to choose.

There was a time when abortions peformed because of rape, incest, and danger to the mother's health made up less than 4% of all abortions performed. I saw that state a few years ago, so maybe it's fluctuated a little, but I doubt very much.

Really? Ask them if they are pro-choice about women who want to arm themselves. They're pro-abortion.

Note: I have very mixed feelings on abortion, myself.

I don't have an opinion on this issue. I'm just giving my personal experience with people I know. Maybe you know my friends better than I do? Anything else I should know?

I don't think anybody is "pro-abortion" in a bloodthirsty way. Well, Margaret Sanger and the early Progressive Eugenicists probably were, but they were racists as well.

I see your point but I'm not big into getting into abortion arguments.

I think it's a state issue that should be voted on by the citizens of said state via legislation put on a ballot.
