More QB talk...

LSUs freshman QB just engineered a 99-yard game winning drive, throwing accurately including the game winning pass.

Our freshman QB hasn't thrown for a TD in 14 quarters of action.

Pissed off.

There is no doubt that Peterman had a terrible debut but I would like to see him get another shot. This is not a bash against Dobbs before anyone decides to go into attack mode.

I would like to see Peterman again as well. UK has nowhere near the defense that UF had when we played them.

For whatever reason Dobbs has not progressed even for a true freshman. I don't know whether it's coaching or not but other true freshman QBs have performed better.

Yeah there is no difference between the players and coaches at LSU and us right?

My eyes tell me Worley does not have the arm to make UT successful. He also does not have the mobility to run CBJ offense. We have seen Worley's upside. Starting him next season would be another mistake imo.

Worley beat USC and almost UGA. Dobbs.....not even thrown a TD pass. He doesn't need a rocket arm.A lot of NFL qbs dont have rocket arms. He makes better decisions and takes care of the ball.

This. Worley has experience which has helped him. He also had much better command of the offense. If Worley didn't get hurt, we would have beaten Vandy and I think would have been way more competitive in the Mizzou and Auburn games.

Jennings was a top qb prospect and had offers from numerous SEC schools including Bama. Dobbs best offer was Arizona State. But I'm sure its just because Butch Jones can't coach right? LOL!

Do we even have a viable QB? Worley has limited upside, and Dobbs and Peterman have shown little poise. Ferguson is an unknown, but the other three have been merely serviceable-- or worse. Worley can win us some games, but he doesn't really fit CBJ's offense and has arm issues that won't cut it against tough opponents. Next year's schedule will kill us without better QB play. Wonder why we're not pursuing a JUCO QB?

That would be brilliant. No one would be brave enough to tackle a guy in wheelchair. Just give Riley the ball and let him roll down the field right into the end zone. And if he's taking too long, Pig Howard can use his athleticism to push Riley's wheelchair.

That's probably against the rules :nono:

I think Worley has ample arm strength. Accuracy? That's another discussion. However, Worley looked like he was starting to get it together before his injury.

I agree, it still would have been a close game (Vandy) but he would not have thrown an INT and feel confident if you hold Vandy Worley would have been able to pass for more than 54 yards against 2nd string Vandy, still would have gotten hammered against mizzou and auburn though

Once again, Dobbs puts the ball right into the receiver's hands, but instead of a long TD pass to Neal, stats will show another incompletion for Dobbs.
