Yep, at work, bored and its the bye week anxiety:)

I gotta go with Casey Clausen..hands down one of the most underappreciated Vols OF ALL TIME. That guy won more critical road games than any other QB we've had in a long time! Just because he was from Cali and had a bit of arrogance seemed to make everyone hate him and never give him the props he deserved.

Arian "fumble the game away" Foster also had/has his haters, but put up some impressive numbers/stats that is up there with other big-time UT running backs. But, again, most fans do not care for him because of his fumbling at inopportune times.

Who ya got?

Not a bad topic but I wouldn't limit it to the Ice Man and Taco....Of those two, it is the guy who was a winner not the guy that cost us the Penn State Outback Bowl or the '08 UCLA game...Most underappreciated players of recent memory = Billy Ratliff, Shawn Bryson, Corey Terry, Tori Noel, Derrick Tinsley and Fred White.

I disagreed with you on Kiffin, but agree that Casey and Arian, were very productive players. I always felt Casey could pull out a win if we were behind in the fourth quarter, and he usually did. As you said, Foster put up some good numbers, but most remember the fumbles.

casey was a baller and you knew he was gonna play to win

foster was inconsistent and troubled by ball security issues

i think its a no brainer that casey is way more appreciated than foster

that being said, neither are under appreciated by vol fans imo

There's only one Iceman! My favorite Vol QB of all time. Beat FL twice, ND once, and Miami once all on the road.
