Yeah, and the guy picked it up and ran 89 yards for a game changing td...done. I was sitting right in that endzone...rain and cold weather sucked! To the other poster..I was there in the Swamp when Foster fumbled the ball at the 10 yrd line...total backbreaker! Hell, I was at the Rose Bowl for the one in 2008 and the one in Neyland in 2005 at the 1 yrd line...think I was at every choke job lol

You just named every fumble in his UT career except one. Casey Clausen had nearly that many turnovers in the streak ending loss to Bama alone.

You must not remember the fumbled snaps against FL in 02. Or the backwards pass vs Bama that same year. Or the fumbled hand off on the goal line vs UGA before half time?
Casey had his share of turnovers that swung momentum the other way too.

To the OP I would say Clausen. Was the most under appreciated while playing and Foster the most post playing.

I remember all three of those, and he looked sloppy and half assed on all three...IMO he took things a bit too casual sometimes, and frankly I don't think Sanders was the guy to make him stop. Cut would probably have straightened out.

That bammer backwards pass was not supposed to be a lateral...he looked sooooo lazy on that throw...or more likely hung over! LOL.

Seriously? Did you watch the '05 South Carolina game (fumble at the goal line we lose by 1), the Penn State bowl game (game tied 10-10 4th quarter fumble at the 15 returned for a TD we lose 20-10), THE ENTIRE FREAKING 2008 SEASON but the UCLA fumble was the worst also fumbled inside the 5 against Auburn but some will blame Crompton for that....and on top of all that we get that stupid taco story from him which until he names the coach that bought him 50 tacos, I am convinced was fiction. Hate is a strong word, I don't hate anybody not even my ex-wife (well, maybe my former mother in law) but it shouldn't be hard to understand why he is not a fan favorite of many Vols either.

I believe he is a fan favorite of many. Just, not with some on here. How many times did he fumble in his time with UT? And, why should we be in such a position that a fumble should "cost" us a game. If it comes down to a field goal to win or lose a game, I don't blame the kicker for the loss if he misses. The O and D should have played better to not put us in that position. But, maybe I see things differently than others.
