I still want to know when he is going to realize that being conservative all the time and keeping playmakers on the bench isn't the way to win ballgames. I'd love to see ole PF use Vinson, Jones, or even Berry in Percy Harvin type of role. But I honestly think that is too much "thinking outside the box" for PF, and it would never happen.

I like Fulmer but I think his leash just became much shorter. He didn't win a championship again and got beaten by an inferior team in the bowl game. Survival instinct my force him out of his comfort zone.

I again like him but hope that Hamilton will not give him a raise or extend his contract. In spite of the mysterious award he got, I'd say the same about Chavis.

just tell me why Coker didnt get the ball more in the Penn State game, Im sure it was part of Phil's master plan, he was a sideline decoy, we would fool Penn State and keep them guessing as to when he would actually get into the game

Still results of discipline for the academic situation prior to leaving for Tampa.

So we let him play some, but not a lot? That's ridiculous. Either leave him in Knoxville, or let him play. Phil pretty much punished the entire team by leaving our running game on the the bench.

if he did play some would say phil's letting his players walk all over him

He did play. He scored a 50 yard TD. Why let him play for four plays? It would make a statement to completely bench him. Playing him sparingly just makes you look like a buffoon.

First, losing Burnett hurts. I thought we had a shot at him with our recruiting momentum and Eric Berry in our corner. The pressure only increases now to land McNeil or Francois. It would be GREAT to land a Rivals100 safety.

Second, the Sports Animal said Coker's playing time did not have to do with a suspension. He didn't play much because...

A. He missed some practice time (Not in as good playing condition as the other backs)
B. His other carries were for negative yards. Fulmer was playing Foster, the more consistent back on the day.

I think his carries were for negative yards because the entire defense was keyed onto him after he ripped off the huge TD run. Unfortunately, we didn't help loosen up the defense by throwing some deep balls while Lamarcus was in the game.

You mean there was a time during the year that our running was'nt on the bench.

Yeah I think he's heading to GT too, but I'm gonna keep on hoping we get him. We really need a good sized saftey that can cover alot of ground and he fits the bill.

Yeah he's a player and so is McNeil. What I'd really like to have to have is Burnett and McNeil, put Burnett at FS where he can use his range and McNeil at SS for his tackling and coverage skills. Not very likely to happen but it would be sweet.

Burnett-GT lock
Francois-LSU lock
McNeil-Tough pull out of state

I say watch out for Nevin McKenzie. He is a JUCO safety with good size(6'2" 200) and good speed(4.4, reportedly ran 4.35). He is rising very fast in the JUCO ranks.

I've not seen any video of him. He has the measurables but not heard if he can hit. Maybe rick can fill that in.

I have not seen video on him. Physically he seems to have it all. Wonder why he was rated so low until just recently? I dont know. But, he has great size and speed for the position.

I do not know if I would count Francois as a lock just yet. I agree on McNeil, he is going to be very, very hard to get out of the grip of Auburn and now Alabama as well.

Burnett is not a GT lock but may wind up there due to UT specifically Slade and Chavis falling down on the job. The fact that Burnetts best friend is Berry keeps UT in it.

Francios will not at any time attend UT, he is an LSU Lock.

McNeil and McKenzie are very real possibilities

Burnett is more of a GT lock than Francois is an LSU lock. "Slade and Chavis falling down on the job".....more explanation please?
