After Burnetts visit they both failed to call him for 2 weeks, what message does that send. Now all of a sudden they want back in.
He is less of a GT lock than Francios is an LSU lock. UT has a real chance with him

North Clayton star safety Morgan Burnett tells the AJC’s Matt Winkeljohn that a Rivals.com report saying he has committed to Georgia Tech is premature. Burnett says he’s still “wide-open.”

i think tyler maples is good for KR because he is a north/south runner, he isnt all caught up in making a big play by running east/west then south by southeast.. .just get from one endzone to another as fast as posbible and he seems to not be affraid of "the hit". seems physical enough and brave enough to stick his head down and make a big impact.

I was very impressed by Burnett in that all-star game, he's a player

I just figure out our secondary is as shaky as our DT...
We will at most pick up either one of McNeil or Burnett

The recruitment of College Park, Georgia(North Clayton) athlete Morgan Burnett has been a whirlwind for the last week or so. Burnett has maintained throughout the process that all of his finalists were even, but over the weekend, a report surfaced that said, Burnett had committed to Georgia Tech. A rumor that is apparently not true.

New article on Rivals.com. Any good news?

Well, I guess the closer to signing day, the better. Unless he decides to commit to another school before his UT visit.

Trooper went to see him to try and get a visit. Right now I would say 35/65 chance of him visiting.

Yeah, at this point the best thing we can hope for is that Chan Gailey is announced as the new Head Coach of the Miami Dolphins soon. If that happens then I think he would at the very least visit UT and I would like our chances a little bit. But, as long as Gailey is at GT we will most likely not even get a visit.

As long as Chan Gailey's (GT HC) name is floating around as a prospect for a coach @ Miami.. I believe we will have a very good shot at Burnett. But if we don't get him to visit I'd say our chances are basically gone.

wonder why GT over UT, is it location or just one of those personal relationship things?
