Moses Abraham...

is it possible that if we get him he could start next year? then could tobias possibly move to the three? it would look something like this:
PG: Trae Golden/ Melvin Goins
SG: Scotty Hopson
SF: Tobias Harris
PF: Kenny Hall
C: Moses Abraham
it seems like this would be a very talented, athletic and long team to put on the floor

it's a possible lineup i suppose. but i doubt this is how it would start off

How strong a class would you consider Harris/Abraham/McRae/Golden. Obviously it isn't up there with the Wall/Cousins/Orton/etc etc. Do you think it can lay a foundation for improvement?

With Abraham this will be a top 5 recruiting class by everyones list. This is not the quality of KY, but it is much better than we have now from top to bottom.

It's already top 5. If we add Abraham, it will definitely rival Syracuse's class for top 4. But I'm not too sure we can match the classes of Memphis, Ohio State and North Carolina

As long as we get a better class than uk I'll be happy. Also don't forget about Maymon.

yes, maymon! and if they had him evaluated in the rankings in addition to a potential 5 star in Abraham, then I think it could potentially rate us as the #3 class

It is already top five, but all those are likely to change after the spring signing period. For example KY has only one kid signed, but are after four or five top 15 players. If they get them, they will move into the top five quickly.

I took that into consideration. Right now we're top 4, but whether UK gets its recruits or not we will still be top 5.

We aren't likely to remain top five unless we sign another player the caliber of Abraham. If we do, I agree--at least top five.

It already is but if we sign Moses Abraham our class will probably be the best in the SEC. I say probably because Kentucky (unfortunately) are in the running for Brandon Knight and C.J. Leslie, I hope both of those guys sign out of the conference.

Don't fool yourself. Knight and Leslie are great players but they aren't Wall or Cousins. I think with our improved roster next year and UK's falling off slightly (And I only say slightly because Wall and Cousins are just flat out great) then we should be competitive for the top spot in the East next season. Vandy will take a step backwards losing Beale.

His coach said we are tied with Geogetown as Abraham's leader.

Pearl went to a game of his just 2 days ago.

Hopefully, we make a big impression this weekend.

I think that is an awesome class especially if you add in Maymon who was a 4star and the #47 overall player last year. I know he doesn't factor into rankings, but that is a big get. That would be 5 solid, new bodies coming in next year.

I think that is a bit of a stretch. Passley was one of the worst to wear the UT jersey (that saw the floor at some time or another) in quite awhile. How long was that kid even on the team anyway?

Anything in particular Hat? I've never seen the guy a second, but the Marquette folks seem more inclined to say they thought he was a good player but had a head case for a father than that he wasn't very good. Not that we need anymore head cases.

He's a guy who doesn't really have a position and thinks he's far better than he is. That's always a bad recipe. If he wants the minutes and touches he thinks he deserves, he should have gone somehwere in the Horizon League to play power forward.
