Most Dangerous Play I've Ever Seen

He definitely should be out at least the rest of the year. Rudolph isn't innocent in this either tho..
He instigated it IMO. If you watch, he was trying to snatch Garrett's helmet off first. That's what set him off. Then ran back up to him after the Olineman had separated them. Should've walked away if he had half a brain. After that blow, he might actually only have half a brain lol.

So the no. 1 draft pick gets suspended for the year for tomahawking a quarterback with his own helmet.. This will bode well for the NFL's already outstanding reputation won't it.

Just appalling - this should be a football death penalty with legal implications. Don't expect much from the NFL, might peeve the social justice agenda. I am so close to being done with the NFL and the drama.

Intent: Garrett’s intent clearly was to remove the helmet off of Rudolph by force then to use it as a weapon. Very possible Garrett could be in some legal trouble over this. If I’m Rudolph, I file a civil suit and press charges. I don’t back down from this. If the NFL doesn’t act, I file suit against them as well.

Ehhh.. I agree with the first part of the intent. I don't think he INITIALLY intended to use it as a weapon, after Rudolph charged him (not smart) yes.

He swung a helmet at a guys head and actually hit him. That's more than jawing and name calling.
I know, it's jawing, name calling, and helmet swinging. These freaking guys hit each other with their helmets for crying out loud. Snowflakes have taken over the gladiators.

Seriously? Please go back and watch the video. You do realize this crap doesn't happen in a vacuum--lots of jawing, name calling, etc, right? You did notice the dude's head wasn't still in the helmet, right? Never play ball again, huh? Lil hyperbole maybe?
hmmm ,even his own players said there was nothing going on leading up to this happening. Maybe you know more than they do since you was not there

Ripping off someone's helmet is different than ripping off someone's helmet and hitting them with it.

Fine Rudolph idc but Garrett should be out for the season atleast.

Yep, I just watched it again...very violent...grown men out of control. Lets file criminal charges. Two guys having very rough contact. Ok, fine the guy on defense and move along. It's a violent sport.

I dont think criminal charges should be filed , it was a dirty move and its going to cost him. Stop pretending like its no big deal.

Never said it wasn't. Just said Rudolph instigated it. I could careless what they do to Garrett. I don't expect more than a fine and a few games though.

If he hits him squarely it could have killed him. That is the worst I have ever seen. Season suspension minimum and maybe a lot longer. His career has changed forever.

That's why i don't watch NFL. He should sit for the remainder of the year unpaid.
It baffles me that we expect so much out of 18 year olds and will even kick them off the team for less than this, but "professional" athletes can do pretty much whatever they want.

Garrett needs to be suspended for the remainder of the year...That was way beyond a football disagreement....That was assault and battery.
