not when we're talking about the most dominant athlete. being second best doesn't count as dominant.
no debate from me that he's the best tennis player ever, but most dominant in my mind is someone with whom nobody else can be mentioned as comparable. certainly not someone who admittedly has a nemesis that beats them regularly. IMO the separation between fed and nadal is not as wide as Tiger and the #2, and is nowhere near Gretzky and the #2.You're right, but whoever said Federer wasn't good on clay is wrong. He can beat anyone out there not named Nadal. On any other surface he is unbeatable. On clay there is one man in the world that can beat him. That's pretty dominant.
