I can't believe Vic Wharton or Todd Kelly haven't been mentioned yet. They each took last year's class on their shoulders and made it their personal mission to build, what turned out to be, the highest ranked class UT has had in a decade (please don't mention '07).

You can argue about their effectiveness in recruiting Hurd and Malone but I they undoubtedly assisted the staff in landing both of them.
