Most Important Recruit over the last 10 years....

Hopefully one of our QBs commits will be a star. I feel QB is the only position where one player can totally change a program. Getting KM is huge but he will need help around him. Berry was one of the best players of the 2000s and...well...2007 was good...

Up front where Championships are won, KM is the biggest impact hopeful we have had in the last 7 or 8 years, plus maybe he will help bring a couple more with him. What time will he announce he is coming to VOL LAND.:good!:

Yep. Like Sweat---then Settle quickly to follow. Torrance Gibson and Quarte Sapp should hop on board and the 5* fireworks show will pop lots of BOOMS. EB's still my choice due (at least in part) to a +2 for his baby bros.:dunno: ESPNU's got his announcement at 8:pm or shortly thereafter.

With the impending (hopefully) Khalil McKenzie commitment today, it got me thinking who is the most important recruit we have signed the last 10 years. On paper Khalil McKenzie maybe the most important recruit in any recruiting class the last 10 years.

Jalen Hurd and Khalil McKenzie are recruits you build programs around.

Do you all agree or has there been a better cornerstone we have used or wasted the opportunity to build around?

Inb4 someone says they haven't played a down of football yet. I am just talking about on paper in a recruiting class.

There is a reason Winston beat Coker out for the starting job.

Exactly! It's hilarious that Coker is on the watch list for the Heisman and Maxwell award, yet has not taken one meaningful snap in college. Just because he's at Bama, they put him on the list. Dobbs and Worley are more qualified to be on that list than Coker...and I'm not saying by any means that they should be, but that they have at least played snaps in college.
