Yeah..and he doubled the defecit of the combined previous 200 years.

Don't get me too wrong, I was a teen during his first term and was blown away by how proud it felt to be an American again. I just believe his image now as an icon of fiscal conservatism is a bit overblown.

so by your logic, we should have never been made peace with england. the fact is Reagan did 1000x more good than bad. you have to understand that he had a very hostile congress and senate. they also had a hand in the deficite.

overrated: Clinton. he is the most overrated president.

I'm sure they did as I stated that he raised taxes multiple times during his presidency. Obviously I am no economist, but please explain to me how I was wrong about his fiscal conservatism. Dems. are tax and spend but Reagan was borrow and spend, re. Cold War.
