Most underperforming?

Texas
USC
LSU
Oklahoma
Florida

Some of these teams have very good records but they are not having the type of performances you would expect.

I think the Offense is ran by a retard. Either way you never say a 5-0 team is under preforming. All these people and their stats crack me up.

Correction: YOU don't say it. The stats conversations have been purely about score. The fact that your tram has underperformed most scoring spread expectations all season doesn't mean that they should be discounted.

Actually, Tennessee has had just as good recruiting classes as Texas over the last 9 years.

You guys and your stats.

Retarded. 9 seasons have nothing at all to do with the current crop on the field. If we would play 8th year starters, you might have your first decent point.

What are your thoughts on Sherman? I pretty much think he's a joke, but would like a college fan's take on it.

He's a professional and conducts himself in that manner. He makes good hires and has a lot of "teaching" focus in his methods. I think he has done some great things here for our boys on and off the field to make them better persons and football players. Of course, I'd love it if they just won games, but Sherman is a candid guy that does not make excuses. I have supported this hire since it was made and will continue to do so. Win or lose, Sherman is good for Texas A&M. I take a lot of crap for saying that sometimes, but its my opinion.

Yet the Vols have struggled, so what. I assure you UAB would love to have the players on the Vols roster.

Here is my stats on recruiting using Rivals stats from 2002-2009. Average class rankings:

1.) USC 4.2 (NC 2004)
2.) Georgia 6.6
3.) LSU 6.7 (NC 2003/2007 and if it were not for bonehead Russell against AU good chance for another in 2006)
4.) UF 7.5 (NC 2006/2008)
5.) OK 7.7 (NC 2000)

Other notables:
Florida State 8.7
Texas 9.5 (NC 2005)
Tennessee 10.6
Auburn 12.6
Ohio State 12.6 (NC 2002)

Well, you know I guess you should put the Vols on the list then. I mean they couldn't put down UAB.

Who expects the Vols to hammer anyone? When did talent get left out of this?

Yeah I know you want some kind of link, you think stats wins games or star recruits. Texas has done a ton more with the talent they have had. You are not going to win a NC every year and I don't care what recruits you have. USC was not going to win a NC this year with or without Lame-o, take more than stars my friend.

WTF do the 02 to 06 classes have to do with anything regarding this year's TX and UT teams?

Are we talking about 2002 or 2010? Are we talking about recruiting rankings or the players that these teams are able to field?

The vols have been under performing for a decade. Saying teams are under performing when they are winning is kind of funny.

Average out 2006-2010 and see how we stack up against Texas. Two very mediocre classes.

The Vols have 3 classes of the last 4 that are top 10. How about that.

07: #3
08: #35
09: #9
10: #10

A third of that '07 class never even made it on campus, and I shouldn't even have to comment on that '08 class.

Actually, I didn't even use stats in my quote.

And your statement is borderline retarded.

I am not the one saying 4-1 teams and 5-0 teams are under performing. Heck, even UNC, they lost a freaking chunk of their team and someone says they are under performing.
