Most underrated Vol of the modern era?

William Howard maybe? He played in the NFL but you never hear his name from Vol fans. That bruiser was a beast.

Curt Watson ---FullBack
Mallon Faircloth ---UT's last Single wing tailback

Jeff Powell. His sixty yard run in the Sugar Bowl put that game out of reach! What ever happened to that guy? Anybody know??

I can recall at least twice (one was Auburn's Brent Fulwood, the other was, I'm almost positive, one of the MS teams) when he flat ran down a couple RB's that thought they were long gone. TM was our own Darrel Green.

SIAP but I believe you are referring to Don Smith (think that was his name) from MSU. He was a QB and was gone for a TD when McDaniel ran him down and may have caused a fumble (fuzzy memories)

#31 that played fullback for the Falcons in the Bartkowski years? If that's him, I had no idea he was from UT. A little before my time. Great player though!

Not sure if it's out there yet, but Big John Henderson was a monster. Freakishly huge dude.
