Absolutely not. A stable homelife is a major factor for the development of a child, and I think living as the child of a happy couple, gay or straight, works wonders. I know two sets of gay parents, and 1 gay single dad (who is incredibly successful). They are all great parents raising great kids. But they all have kids of the same gender, not 2 guys raising a girl or 2 ladies raising a boy. I simply think there are issues that naturally arise, as the OP's article illustrates.

As the OP - let me clarify my opinion. I have no problem with gay people or gay couples adopting children.

I do have a problem with any parent choosing a medical therapy like this. It is a child and the parents are abdicating their parental duty IMO. I don't make any assumption that it has to do with their own sexual preference.

Trying to pretend like raising kids outside of heterosexual couples won't have any negative affects on children is retarded.

There is a ton of research on this subject, not to mention it is just plain common sense.

If people want to go and live and be gay as sh!t that is their perogative. But when they take their lifestyle and start using it on children to promote their gay agenda, that is just sick IMO.

then link some of the research if there's "a ton" out there. Also please explain how they are "promoting a gay agenda" by raising kids in a loving household. Is it because they'll end up tolerant of others and we just can't have that kind of crap?

the two idiots perpetrating this crap on the kid are saying exactly that. I don't know how anyone is buying it. Forget the gay lifestyle debate and the apparently dysfunctional craphole that the two obviously created, I'm just curious how they square this idiotic explanation with reality.

Exactly. I know his moms claim they are giving him this hormone-stunting treatment so he can come to a final decision re: what gender he wants to be. But what will happen two years from now if he decides he wants to be a boy? He'll have missed two of the most critical years of his physiological development.

Put simply, the choice has already been made and the bridge to manhood has been burned.
