Movies that people love that you hate

The Departed is the best movie in terms of film-making since The Godfather, IMO. The writing is brilliant. The acting and the directing is incredible. My one qualm is the stupid shot of the rat on the hand-rail at the end. All the subtle symbolism throughout the movie was almost ruined by that.

Agree on all points.

That's the wierd thing about it. Basically everybody involved in that movie I am a huge fan of (Scorsese, Dicaprio, Nicholson, Wahlberg). There's really no reason I shouldn't have loved it but for some reason I couldn't get into it. Maybe I should give it another shot.

I'm confused. So you like or not like the movie?

I never caught that. Honestly I may just not have an eye for symbolism. Can you give some more examples from that movie?

I need to watch The Departed again. All I remember is the biggest WTF moment in movie history at the end...

There's people in here just trolling hard.

Inglourious Basterds.

I honestly fell asleep watching it the first time around.

Dark Knight Rises.

Way over hyped, huge disappointment.

The Deer Hunter

Horrible movie, I was waiting for like two hours for the reason why everyone liked it and why it won an Academy Award.

Way overhyped, and huge disappointment are kind of strong terms. But overhyped and disappointment I can agree with.

I'm lazy and hate Batman, so which one is that? I enjoyed the Heath Ledger one and that was it of the Nolan trilogy. The last one was stupid on so many levels.
