Movies you've seen recently II

Night Bitch was underwhelming.

Excited to see Saturday Night when it releases on Netflix Jan 25th.

A Complete Unknown is very good.

The Company You Keep - on prime. Robert Redford and a host of other known actors in a story of members of American students who violently protested the Vietnam War who went into hiding 30+ years later. Solid show - worth the watch.

I watched "The Big Lebowski" for the first time last night. How it is a cult classic is bewildering to me, what an awful film. It is hard to put into words how much I disliked it. Lol
I liked it but I'm not the fan most are. Probably stems from not being a fan of Bridges.

John Goodman was about the only saving grace for me, but I've always thought he was a good actor. Criminally underrated.

He did his best with whatever in the hell that script was. And I love the Coens, No Country for Old Men is one of my favorite films (and novels, too).

I get that about Goodman. My favorite of his is The Babe.

Yeah, I just didn't like it or think it was funny. I did chuckle when Walter wore his best suit to that guy's dance performance. Like a proud papa lol

Nothing is ****ed

If it were for everyone, then it wouldn't be good.

The best jokes are really subtle, IMO. You uncover new jokes on the 5th watch. But there are also some big LOL moments for me that I believe would have universal appeal....like you didn't LYAO when he shaded Jackie Treehorn's notepad to reveal the doodle? So great

Finally watched The Pope of Greenwich Village last night for the first time. Rourke was/is a pretty darn good actor.

But Eric Roberts was annoying as hell. Talk about being an overacting ham. As I am suffering through the his scenes, it occurred to me that while he has been in a fair number of movies, I cannot fathom why.
