BTW, the Furious franchise is interesting in that early on it took the traditional path franchises take, but it totally did an about face with the 4th movie. Has that ever happened?

First one - decent blockbuster success
Second one - cheap rip-off (partly because they couldn't even get all the actors back)
Third - around the world to completely new characters

And then you would expect the 4th to go straight to DVD, but hell man...that ain't what happened. It became one of the biggest franchises ever.

If my local theater was running special that included entry to Furious 7 at no charge, free large drink and popcorn, and if I made completely through the movie they'd give me $45, I still wouldn't go see that movie.

I wouldn't go because I'm a beautiful man, and I know there's many bros within the audience. Bro rape is a very serious issue.

And I imagine the smell of axe body spray in the theater would be lethal.

I'm not even a Fast&Furious fan, but even I have to admit it's getting a pretty bad rep in here. They're mindless, fun action movies. nothing more, nothing less.

The Inn Keepers:

8/10

I give it an extra point because the lead actress is hot. But it's a decent horror film. On chiller often, and Netflix.

For those of you knocking Furious 7 its currently got an 82% Fresh rating at Rotton Tomatoes with 88% Audience Score!

While on Letterboxd.com its getting mostly 4.5/5 ratings!
Not to mention its already made over a billion dollars worldwide!

gonna have to agree to disagree with this one. save for one scene, i found it altogether boring and not scary/creepy at all. thought it was rather disappointing, especially since I had watched House of the Devil earlier that year and had really liked it.

lead actress was pretty cute though.
