Saw "Trainwreck" last night. It is the plot of "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" almost exactly. It was much funnier, though.

Oh god, how do I even rate this movie? The first half was amazing, but the last half sucked. I thought the end was stupid.

6/10

The plot to HTLAGI10Ds is phenomenally stupid (they are both trying to get dumped). I don't think it's all that similar.

They both are magazine writers in NY with strange bosses. They both fall for a guy they didn't think they would ever fall for. in both, the guy officially falls in love with the girl after a weird encounter with her family. Both end with one pulling a romantic gesture out when the relationship was seemingly over. Both feature MSG and the Knicks quite a bit.
So not exactly alike, but very similar. The people I was with suggested the same thing before I even mentioned noticing it myself.

The more I think about it, the more pissed i get. I'm gonna watch it follows again, but right now it's the most stupid movie I've ever seen.

There we go. You're not cynical enough with your reviews. This is a step in the right direction.

It should be funny...kids characters have potential. Just doesn't seem like it had a director.

The little brother had potential to be funny, but the closing credits of Rogue Nation were more entertaining than what I watched of Vacation. I left during the rafting scene. I couldn't take any more, so I left early to go watch Rogue Nation in RPX.

pretty sure the below post discredits all the "this movie is the most stupid/childish movie I've ever seen" comments you make for actually somewhat decent (at worst, slightly below average) films.

For the 15th time, Larry the cable guy: health inspector

It Follows 5/10

I'm writing this right after I finished and was hugely disappointed so it's a little harsh. This can sit beside Birdman as one of the most overrated movies I've seen in the past year. First I'll be nice: acting was decent, the way it was shot was nice, the score had a cool old school horror feel to it.

Now then, the premise is utterly stupid. Have sex and be stalked by the coochie monster...scary. The way it was shot was to build tension that it could pop up at any point, which was good. The problem for me was, if it popped up you just needed to simply walk away. So that made the way it was shot irrelevant really, because a sloth could get away from this thing. Then there is the dilemma, do I have sex and pass it on (lol seriously) or just hold onto it and spare others... Except that didn't matter because you still saw it. I don't think it was meant to be funny, but some scenes were just ridiculous. Honestly I had a hard time staying awake. Just remember kids no sex...or a slow, not scary, probably naked, coochie monster will get you.

Lol. Those films are supposed to be simple and stupid, "it follows." Is supposedly a "smart movie." But it sucked. Imo.
