Re watched Batman Begins with my daughter. She's starting to get into the Super hero type movies so I'm one happy dad.
7.5/10- Not a big fan of the batman voice

i don't mind simple, silly movies (recent example being Ant Man, which i found hilarious that you considered it too "childish"), but they have to be done right. stupid on the other hand, is not what a movie should be.

the premise of It Follows wasn't stupid (albeit pretty silly, but such a more original, unique idea these days that I'll cut it some slack), the execution was just poorly done in the 2nd half IMO.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation - 8/10 I don't think it was as good as Ghost Protocol, but solid nonetheless. Rebecca Ferguson is really, really easy on the eyes.

Stupid might have been a little much in my post, as I had just finished watching it. I had high expectations and really wanted it to be good. Sadly it was a pretty big disappointment. IMO


Also Troll 2 was stupid and it was awesome. Lol

Battle Royale 8.5/10

The Japanese version of The Hunger Games...if The Hunger Games shot up steroids, snorted a bunch of Meth then cranked up the violence about 20 notches. So in other words it was really good.

the parents are "ashamed." Of her, mostly like some parents are when it comes to their child being pregnant. Then there's the final "it's" scene, with the pool, the blood that symbols "it." Is gone is a symbol of a girl on her "period." So to speak, meaning they're not pregnant. Just a theory.

just for the record, i only gave It Follows a 6.5/10, so yeah we're pretty much in the same ballpark there lol

and yeah Troll 2 (and The Room, Samurai Cop, etc) are indeed stupid, but they aren't exactly what i meant. i was thinking more about the people who think they're the bees knees and keep lazily putting out insultingly unfunny pieces of s**t (think friedberg and seltzer, adam sandler (as of late), the wayans brothers (as of late), Larry the Cable Guy, etc). i understand humor is subjective, but give me a break. some of these guy's attempts at "humor" are revolting and painful.
