Eagle vs Shark is good. Has a more indie feel to it. If you like Napoleon Dynamite you'll like it.

Dawgfight (doc on Netflix) was repulsive but kinda entertaining, until

The guy Dada fights to prove he's not just a street brawler is now 0-7 in MMA (of course no mention is made of his record). Since then Dada has fought one other guy who is 1-10. It's all hype.

I had seen a small thing about Dada5000 on ESPN I think, so I watched this. I actually liked it a lot.

A Gang Story...9/10...NetFlix...Sub-titled Foreign film about Older Gangsters who have a loyal history to each other but it's put to the test when one is arrested and things from the past arise and cause complications. I lived it and would watch again. One of the Main Gangsters is the French Major from the movie The Patriot w/Mel Gibson.


Hanna...7.5/10...very good movie, lots of action but it does get slow in middle when she is with the annoying hippie family.

Black Mass...chilling but it should have been a Netflix series (like Narcos)...couldn't cover all the scum Whitey Bulger exuded in two hours.

Focus - 7.5/10 Pretty darn good con movie and it never hurts to have a hot chic to look at while you're watching.

Deliver Us From Evil - 6/10 Fairly decent horror movie. I caught this one already in progress but the finish was pretty good. Some random inconsistencies just kind of thrown in for scare factor though.

Supermensch is a really good documentary on Netflix

Hanna...7.5/10...very good movie, lots of action but it does get slow in middle when she is with the annoying hippie family.

The "action" certainly slowed down but the hippie section was where most of the humor was found. I LOL'd at the "three bullets" comment and when she'd pinned dude after the awkward teenage moment and asked if she should let him go and the other girl asks "As opposed to what!?".

It definitely has it's charm, but my ex and I both agree that "Ever After" starring Angelica Huston and Drew Barrymore is better.

Whether or not one considers the news to be driven by "evil" is subject to how one feels about brainwashing and deliberate mind/thought control.

To me, the news is nothing more than a continuous cycle of fear mongering, political instigation, and diversions from key events and issues.

There's an entire industry that churns for the sole purpose of misleading, confusing, and scaring the public.

If that's not evil, I don't know what is.
