That movie was cool for its time. Cannibal Ferox was another gnarly one back in the day. In Cannibal Holocaust I do believe the animals they kill is real.

You're right...huge controversy. Also the producers were brought up on homicide charges because authorities couldn't find the movie victims...the actors were paid to stay scarce to build up the movie.

No Escape. 7.5/10

A few scenes I suspended belief to enjoy, but it was a good movie. I was never bored for a second.

Scenes I'm talking about are:

When he throws the girls to the other roof and the mom catches them. Can't help but say yeah right. Also, when they cross the Vietnam border and the military is speaking English to the other country for warning. Didn't make a lot of sense.

Dallas Buyers Club. Really good movie. MM lost a lot of weight to get into character and was truly gaunt and malnourished appearing. Jared Leto was great also. No wonder they each took home Oscars.

Moneyball - 7/10
I'm not a big MLB fan but this movie was solid. Really enjoyed it.

The Social Network - 4/10
This movie was incredibly overhyped. Also Jesse Eisenberg is annoying as f***.

The Social Network is a movie that I'll stop and watch whenever I see it's on. Such a great film.

doing a list of the top 50 movies of the first half of this past decade (2010-2014) on another forum. TSN should secure a spot on it, probably in my top 40.
