There were cool things about Jurassic World, but these movies would be so much better if they didn't try so hard with the story/plotlines. Take a page out of the Mad Max playbook and just give us unbridled carnage for 2 hours. Raptors replacing foot soldiers on the front lines? A weaponized T-Rex? That's some Sharknado nonsense.

I'll have you know I'm watching sharknado 2 at the moment, and its cinematic genius!

Bridge of Spies

I really enjoyed it. If you're not into historical movies, you probably won't like it as much. Tom Hanks was great as always. The supporting was surprisingly good. Spielberg directing and the Coen brothers writing speak for themselves.

Saw it this weekend and thought it was great. Wife said the same and she's not usually into movies like that. Hanks definitely a big part of making that film

Spectre 6.5/10 Typical Bond movie with a Dr.Evil character, his Henchman, Bond girls. Great action, but not as good as Skyfall.

Dope

was pretty dope. great acting, great writing, pretty nice cinematography, and was pretty original which was nice for a change. 3rd act kinda lost me a bit, but I still really enjoyed it.

A-

in case anybody wants to watch a live stream of Shia Labeouf watching every Shia Labeouf movie...

#ALLMYMOVIES

think they're about to start the Indiana Jones: KOTCS next

lol what a goon

Terminator Genisys- pretty good imo. I enjoyed it much better than the last couple of ones.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 - 4/5

I was a bit disappointed but it wrapped the series up nicely and pretty much followed the book scene by scene. So I can't complain that much.

Trumbo...excellent! Bryan Cranston will not be typecasted. Gonna buy it when it comes out just to replay the John Goodman scene over and over.

Has anybody seen The Room? Apparently it's so bad that it's great and has a huge cult following. Seth Rogen and the Franco boys are making a movie about the making of the movie. I gotta see this:

has it really never been mentioned on here? i feel like there should/could be a thread on it somewhere in here.

it's only the best movie ever made.

it has one of the biggest cult followings of any movie out there. heck, it's primarily referred to as "the Citizan Kane of bad movies." i know of several theaters that do at least one late night showing a month and they're some of the most fun you'll have at a theater.

Franco bros and Rogen are making a movie based off The Disaster Artist, which was written by Greg Sestero, one of the lead actors (among other things) for the film. The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made: Greg Sestero, Tom Bissell: 9781451661194: Amazon.com: Books

i recommend it (both movie and book), it's great, and I'm very excited to see what the franco bros and rogen do with it.

Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace - 3/5

I'm going to try and watch all of the Star Wars films leading up to The Force Awakens.

I probably hadn't watched this since I saw it in theaters way back when and what everyone says is true i.e. Jar Jar!

I also noticed that some of the CGI has become dated.

If you do the podcast thing, "How Did This Get Made" did one of their better episodes ever on The Room.
