The Seven Five-8

Documentary about dirty cops in NYC during the 80's- early 90's, told mostly by the main cop. Pretty good, dude was Vic Mackey light.

CBGB was good, I have met Hilly several times as was there most of my free weekends in the mid-late 90's. The movie was a little bit scatterbrained, probably by design, but I would recommend it

That was probably the worst super hero movie ever, I would rather watch The Phantom or the old Cap movie. I thought Mara was ok as Sue, though they really didn't give her anything to work with. Reed was horrible. Ben Grimm was too small, and the Things voice was just too soft. "It's fantastic" lol Wtf I really didn't have a problem with Michael B Jordan being The Human Torch, he's pretty charismatic, cocky and goofyish. The problem was they didn't make The Human Torch that way, instead he was some weird angsty guy with a touch of resentment towards Sue and his father. Its like these people never read the comic...oh wait...they didn't. Lol Now then Dr Doom...I like the guy playing him (Rock-N-Rolla is awesome), but why can't anyone get this character right? The reason for hating Reed was vague and contrived at best. Oh its because of Sue. Except the only time that came up, was he told Reed to act professional and Reed went to bed. Oh its because Reed thinks he is smarter, except when the are working together they work well together and appear to respect each other. As for Dooms look, I can only imagine the creator always wondered what it would be like for the Terminator to **** a crash test dummy. Seriously can somebody please get the greatest Marvel villain of all time right? End rant...sorry about that. Lol

I watched with the hope of "its so bad its good" kind of like Dolph Lundgrens He-Man. Nope just a big mess, it had to be heavily edited or its some of the worst writing ever in a movie. It made the originals seem like cinematic masterpieces, though I didn't think those were as bad as most people do.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Would have liked a tiny bit more about the 30 years prior. I guess I'm a junkie for that sort of extra canon or whatever, and it might just be me. Otherwise, it was everything I expected it to be. I was afraid two years ago they would mess it up. I wasn't sure I would like much of the references and throwbacks, but I actually did.

Favorite moment was when they have Phasma in the control room or whatever, and ask if there is a trash compacter/garbage chute. I assume they threw Phasma down there lol. Either way, good reference. And I believe I heard a Wilheim scream in there too.

I'm just mad we have to wait a year and a half. A year would have sufficed I though, similar to the Hobbit series.
