Mr. Speaker, answer the question

If BB would look at 1/6 with any intellectual honesty he would see that Trump didn't damage the strength of our democratic system. In actuality it proved our system is strong and secure. (post election)

A MAGA trying to lecture us on "intellectual honesty"? Yea, that is funny. MAGA are neither intellectual nor honest.

Some of the dialogue here is extremely laughable. Not because it isn't true..... Trump was a disaster in many ways. But to pitch integrity of democracy in trying to undo elections is pretty pathetic from a party that had it's #1 candidate participate in a scheme to mislead by omission and then influence a campaign/election is just plain silly.

If you can't admit they're all criminals and should be consumed and spit out you can't be taken seriously. Arguing over which turd smells worst only interests crappy people.

Omar isn't Speaker of the House. She has literally no power. An election denier as SOH is a very dangerous thing to our Constitution and the peaceful transfer of power.
That's a switch, a dem concerned about the constitution. Any other time they spit it

To be fair to LG, there hadn't been any election deniers since way back in 2016.

When was the last time a member of the House of Representatives authored a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court seeking to deny the winner his seat as President?

Hint: it has happened only once.

Wait. Your first claim implied he was an awful human being because he was election denier like that had never happened before. But now you bring up because he authored a brief about it.

Thought you “practiced“ law in Florida. Oh wait, wasn’t there a bunch legal battles back around…2000? And if I recall correctly a lot of folks on the losing end of those briefs denied the election results?

There is some wisdom about people in glass houses. But based on the content of your frequent posts, wisdom is not your forte.

Seems pretty fitting for Republicans to elect a Johnson as Speaker. I think part of the party platform now is to be the biggest Johnson you can possibly be. Rump, Gaetz, Jordan, Cruz, Boebert, MTG….. And now a real Johnson, in name and in policy. Just can’t make this 💩 up.

Could have been worse, we could have had a drunk bit## that's a wannabe dictator. Oh wait, we already had that. Pelosi was her name. Often referred to as a low life dem.

Who won the 2020 Presidential election ?

Do not merge this. It deserves its own thread now that there is a new SOH

He's second in line of succession, the American people need to know if he is still an election denier.
Well Hillary Clinton and Stacy Abrams are "election deniers". So are many others on the left over the 2016 election and even the 2000 election. What's your point?

It’s probably just me, but I find it bizarre when someone comes on a rival teams board and tells the Mods what they should or shouldn’t merge. Maybe you should start lawgators board and then merge what you want or don’t want?

That doesn't make any sense. Trump's alternate elector scheme was a profoundly ridiculous stunt .... and it was a very real threat to our democratic system of elections.

Trump's attempts to overturn the outcome of his own defeat didn't work only because a select few Republicans (Mike Pence, Brian Kemp, Doug Ducey) wouldn't let themselves be intimidated into following along with it. The reality is, that a vast majority of Republicans were eager to take part and assist in his strategy for overturning the election.

It's not the same. The election is an American issue. We see this pathetic, sniveling Republicans like Johnson who want to pretend that
they didn't try to overturn the election. "What? Huh....don't remember that. I've no recollection." Bunch of losers--bums--and so nice to see so many of them either pleading guilty, taking plea deals to testify, or going to prison. UnAmerican rats in the house.

Johnson also wants to cut Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. What kind of morons and a-holes would support that? Americans depend on those programs, big-time. They'll never be cut, and these extremist clowns with their bull$hit complaints about spending are just whistling Dixie.
They’re going to get cut one way or another. Either that, or we reduce the size, scope and expense of other govt agencies to shore them up. You guys really have a hard time understanding how much debt we are in, the cost of servicing that debt and the ramifications of the momentum and trajectory of the debt that further erodes the dollar making all of these services vastly more expensive.

The point ?

The actions taken by Donald Trump on January 6, 2021 went far beyond simply denying that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. During the formal process of certification, Donald Trump tried to bully his Vice President into not counting votes from legally chosen sets of electors, from states which they had lost. This marked a monumental conflict of interest, with no basis in either Federal Election Law or the United States Constitution.

With their alternate elector scheme, laws were broken, and the democratic system of elections was undermined.

You are making a false equivalency.

Yeah, that Dem side sure is a beacon of hope and all that’s righteous too.
