the way i understand it, its Tennessee and Miami. And this weekend is huge.

He was just at UT and Miami and was thought to be going back to Ole miss, hence the worry, why is this weekend huge?

Agree. When I see Miami gettin involved I automatically start thinking about Mauigoa. Not saying that’s gonna happen but we absolutely have to worry about Miami.

I personally think this year is slightly different than with Mauigoa. They also had the benefit of Cristobal being able to sell his OL development to him. We have that with Garner, plus we had a lot of money tied up into Nico last year. If I had to guess I would say both 5 star WRs and 5 star DL we’re in on will equal about the same amount of money we gave Nico. So NIL may not quite be as much of an issue. If they’re offering him say 250k a year he might would take 200k a year to play for a better program and get developed by one of the best in the business. Plus we’re coming off a season where we beat Bama and absolutely obliterated LSU and Clemson. So the trajectory of our program looks completely different than it did this time last year and Miami’s looks worse than it did this time last year in my opinion

Not really. If you think we cheated in the 80s like Miami did then you are mistaken.
