Being in Miami right now is like living at the lava ocean on the sun. It is storming every afternoon and the real feel temp is like 105. But they do have AC at Tootsie's and E11even 👀

Also, the heat contributes to the wardrobe choices of the fairer sex, if you are into that sort of thing (no judgement...)

There is a top five for the five-star defensive end from Lake Cormorant, Miss., but Tennessee and Miami could be battling this one out until the end. Auburn and Ole Missare the other main contenders with Florida State rounding out his top five but right now this looks like a two-team race between the Hurricanes and the Vols.

It’s been awhile ago, but from what I heard, he is shopping to see his worth. With all things being equal, he prefers TN though. I would assume he come here unless Miami throws the bank at him and over pays.

I mean it depends on what he values. Loose women and huge NIL money favor miami but as far as the football program it’s not even close. Tennessee can probably get the same NIL package unless Ruiz decides to get involved heavily.

If this kid is just chasing a bag then he isn't the kind of player we want anyways. I think we have shown our culture isnt just about outbidding for players. We want players that fit and want to be here for the right reasons. So, i hope we get him, but we aren't gonna get in a bidding war for him

We won’t overpay for a recruit but we will definitely use NIL to get a player that we really want to come to Tennessee.

Bidding wars have been going on forever that’s how championships are won like it or not. NIL just made it more in the open and discussed. Before it was done through back doors and McDonald’s bags. You aren’t going to load up on 4 and 5 star kids just because they want to run through the T.

I think there’s definitely a healthy in between. You can get paid well really well to play at Tennessee, play in front of record crowds in sec against the best competition, get developed by the best coaches OR you can go get paid at Miami and play in front of a couple thousand and have a coaching carousel every few years.
