He's returning kicks. And he'll get his chance to play RB when he earns it. I'm as high on the guy as anyone but you play the guys who show you they're ready. UT lost a potentially good RB last year. He was a 4* but Sampson the 3* proved he was ready. When will Seldon get to show what he’s has next year don’t want to transfer
We have one of the best backfields in the country with our top 3 RBs, but he wonders when the fourth string true freshman is going to get meaningful carries. There's a lot of ball left to be played, including the teeth of the SEC schedule. I hope we don't have to see Seldon or Keith get meaningful snaps this season. He's returning kicks. If Seldon has just a little patience, he's going to have a great career at UT. Trusting him as a primary kick returner isn't a small thing.
Out of curiosity, I looked up Williams-Thomas on Cal’s website. Doesn’t look like he’s played so far this year. He's returning kicks. And he'll get his chance to play RB when he earns it. From my impression, based on what I’ve read on here, Volquest interviews, etc. (which basically amounts to a hill of beans) it seems he’ll make good use out of that Cal-Berkeley degree.Very smart kid. Good athlete. Maybe overrated as a football player. I have friends who know him personally. They say he's just a great kid. I wish it had worked out.
Back to the 2024 prospects, Mississippi running back Daniel Hill is down to three and that’s no surprise. Hill’s recruitment could go a number of different ways depending on who you talk with about it. South Carolina has always felt good, and he obviously really likes the Gamecocks but we don’t believe it’s as big of a slam dunk as others. He is not going to end up visiting there this weekend, and has no other visits set up at this time.
-VQPeople in his circle really like Alabama but we aren’t sure his own desire is to end up in Tuscaloosa. Then there is Tennessee, who has just been lurking in the shadows and impressed both he and his family on their official visit a few weeks back. Could Tennessee be the ‘meet in the middle’ option? It was something floated our way earlier this week. He does not have a timetable on the decision as we hit the mid part of October.
