Wonder if some teams are running out of money for this class though. Meanwhile we’re still in the thick of it in several major recruitments. Seems like the NIL money has been spread out the right way so far.Difference is, SC is sitting at 19th in the rankings...I can kind of see their frustration. We sit at 6th, good chance to move into the top 5, yet many here sound like cocks.
I doubt he's using us. I think talks slowed with us when we focused in on Braylen Russell. It seemed like Russell was in the bag and we had our thunder & lightning combo. I imagine we reached out and tried to get back in it with Hill at that point. We may have done enough to at least give him pause and delay his commitment, or it could have nothing to do with us at all. The fact that he is still in regular contact with our coaches leads me to believe the former. He's not as fast as Russell, but he's more versatile. He also won the 6A state championship in Mississippi in the 110m and 300m hurdles. Extremely impressive for a 220lb RB.Not sure another RB is a need in this class. Are we really pursuing, or is he just using us to tease Bama and the Cocks?
I think this guy fits better in our offense than Braylen Russell. I saw Russell as a one-dimensional 4 minute offense/ salting the game away or goal line type back. Hill seems much more versatile. Kind of reminded me of like a better Raijon Neal with all of the wheel routes and splitting out wide. Heupel could probably scheme a bunch of stuff where Hill motions out of the backfield and confuses the linebackers/ secondary.

I have become cautious with guys like this. Have to wonder if he is just trying to legitimize our hat on the table since we are hovering around with a top 10 class and it looks good.
Rajion Neal is a name I have not heard in a while. What happened to him, is he still playing in the league?I think this guy fits better in our offense than Braylen Russell. That's giving a high school kid a lot of credit. It's been reported publicly that it was between Bama and the Cocks since he set his commitment date. I don't think he would resume talks with our coaches and delay his commitment, just to legitimize having our hat on the table. This is usually the biggest life decision a kid has had to make. I think Coach Mack has just given him a little more to consider before making that decision. I don't know if it's a 3 team race now or not. But, the longer he delays, the better chance we have.I have become cautious with guys like this.
