I think he wanted to feel like THE marquee recruit wherever he committed to. He was never going to get that kind of attention from our fanbase with who we have the possibility of landing. He was most likely always going to be the third best recruit (at best) at his position alone in this class. For Mississippi State's fanbase, he is a huge puzzle piece. Good for him and them. He likely would have been a portal entry here if he wasn't THE guy by year two.

No. A lot of SEC schools would've taken him. Tennessee would've liked to keep him but there's too many good receivers on our board for us to put up with all the recruitment drama from one player there

Chances are good he transfers again. Admittedly I don't know the kid, it seems a case of a losing season creates sore losers. We see too many kids that transfer early transfer again, not all but too many.
