Seemed like we had a flurry of WR offers go out or renewed interest at least over the past couple of weeks. Bet the staff had an idea things were happening here.Absolutely not true. He loved UT… Faizon and his relationship was just a cherry on top. Not sure what LSU did here though their receivers have had success in the NFL. Last I heard about a week ago was that we were in great shape to get him.
LSU puts quite a few good or great receivers in NFL.Not so much with TK. But in general, one would think that a top flight QB (in three classes) would attract five star WR. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How many of Tennessee great WR' s were recruited, coached and developed by the same HC?. The moral is LSU more recently is known for putting WR's in NFL and mostly 1st round draft picks. Battle, Majors and Fulmer all had 1st round draft picks at WR. Tennessee's last 1st round draft pick at WR was 2012 Patterson, two guesses who his Head Coach was.Joe many of those were recruited, coached, and developed by Kelly, though?
Me Neither! UT has probably one of the best(If not the best) stable of QB's in the country. They would have gotten him the ball, No doubt! All this time, he was a UT probable. From now on, I'll wait for signing day to follow recruiting. The recruits these days change their mind more often than they change their underwear! What? Why is our WR recruiting so stale?
Ugh. I dont get it guys.
True, but no one is promoting UT's history of producing WRs as a factor. How many of Tennessee great WR' s were recruited, coached and developed by the same HC?. It’s been a long time since we have had a really productive WR in the NFL. We all love JJ but he isn’t really that productive. Patterson isn’t a good WR. He is just electric with the ball in his hands. Hyatt? Tillman? Palmer? They really haven’t done anything.True, but no one is promoting UT's history of producing WRs as a factor.
