Tennessee hasn’t signed a WR of Key’s caliber in a very long time.

Matthews is one of the few 5 star WRs I can think of in the past 20 years. This kid is a top 5 overall player.

I recall us being in it for the Memphis kid that went to USC, George Pickens, the two Clemson kids, OSU WR. There are others.

Patrick Turner went to USC, but he was from Nashville. Is that who you mean? Marlon Brown was a Memphis kid who went to Georgia.

Guessing you’re hinting at Moss, but he reminds me of Pickens, who was probably the highest rated WR we’ve ever signed (and the best).

Easier said than done. Even if he committed today, teams arent just gonna give up on him. It would be a dog fight to keep him. There is no locking down guys early and then not worrying about it.

who does he remind you of? Long stride. Has the necessary top end speed. Catch anything in the vicinity. Room to add probably 15-20 lbs of muscle.

he's not as tall, and he's bigger framed, I think.

Doesn't seem to have that hop, but, can ... wait.... I never played football.! You can watch the video. Or ask one of the many VN HS coaches for their input.

All I know is kid has the Keys to be successful.
