As much as it irritates me, making excuses for the loss is ridiculous.

Living in Disneyland doesn't work in Punch and Judy politics. You regroup, reform, and revitalize. There is clearly a large base as evident by 06 and 08, but clearly something went wrong. Blaming the losses on economic woes, outspending and Democrats not voting for health care reform is insane.

I think they should start with a David Cameron/Bill Clintonesque movement.

Republicans also shouldn't underestimate the President in 2012.
