MTV's "The Challenge" Thread

Can't believe there are no comments about Kaycee vs. Tori. That was insane. I thought the first one might've been Kaycee just surprising her a little bit, but it looked like Tori let up on the 2nd collision out of fear.

Devin is becoming such a whiny *****.

Yeah, the stuff with Tori was so dumb. I can understand his side of it a little bit, but OMG dude. I saw 4 big bitches in this episode, TBH (Josh, Kyle, Devin, and CT).

Kyle is so bad at this game. How can such a likable personality be so alone in the house? He sucks.

CT once again demonstrates why after 20 years of this, he barely has any friends.

Josh, stop crying.

He barely beat Josh after Josh completely ****ed Kyle up in the daily. There are comps Josh flat out can't do, but he's not a layup.

Josh absolutely is a lay up. I mean sure, Josh has size so in a daily where it’s essentially a hall brawl, Josh can run over some people. But the guy is 1-5 in eliminations and his one win is against Mechie for fks sake.

His just a big, lumbering, emotional, uncoordinated “competitor.”

And I swear every time he gets into an elimination they cut to him in a confessional saying the same tears-eyes thing “I’m exhausted but I just think about my family and I’m gonna have to die up here before I give up.” Cut back to the elimination and moments later opponent ~inset name~ wins.

Once again, Kyle, who is considered a good competitor, barely beat Josh in a comp that required endurance and coordination.

I dont even understand what the hell he is trying to say.

Basically saying Josh gets casted over legit competitors because he forces drama.

I mean, look no further than him pulling CT aside last year saying “Kaycee is LITERALLY crying in there” when Kaycee was only initially mildly upset.

Josh is just a camera time whore. Has to give a speech or interject during every deliberation. It would be a girls elimination day and two girls would be bickering in deliberation and Josh would chime in. Bro sit down.

Is Kyle a good competitor? He won some pole wrestle eliminations and made a final on a season he was tied to Cara Maria’s hip - but does that make him good?

It’s all subjective but if you had to power rank the male competitors for the, say, last 2-4 seasons - I’m not sure how high I’d rank Kyle.

First of all, Paulie has no room to speak on anybody causing drama. If this is Paulie's point, then he doesn't understand that the game isn't just about competitive prowess.

Kyle has a better elimination winning % than CT and Jonny Bananas, so there is that.

Whatever you want to say about Kyle, he's far from a layup.

I only said I didn’t consider Kyle a good competitor.

The only one I said was a layup was Josh.

I love/hate Josh. Just like Kyle. Just like CT. What draws me to all of them is that they make the show interesting.

I can give you CT and Kyle making it more interesting. They’re more genuine. Josh is far too fake. Too dramatic. Forces drama for camera time.

Like that season he kept trying to force Wes drama and Wes just kept saying “there is no rivalry. I don’t care to get rid of the worst competitor in the game.” 😂

Yet josh kept on trying to claim Wes was trying to scheme against him. 🙄

Right, but the point is he barely beat Josh, who you are saying is a layup and I'm saying how can that be so if Kyle is not a layup? This was even a comp that should have favored a guy with Kyle's build over Josh.

Totally disagree. There have been so many episodes where Josh was a big part of why it was good. Like when he voted with Laurel to betray everyone he was working with. That was so fkn funny.

By bringing up Wes, you reminded me of another awesome episode. He betrayed his team and put up Wes, which led to possibly Wes's worst moment in his entire Challenge career (losing to Bear because he was so shook). Without Josh, you don't get any of that good drama and that episode is not memorable at all.

The first 1 was kind of janky cause Tori was turning a corner and kind of off balance. Kaycee did play football so not really surprised.

**** Big Brother now includes Devin. Sad times.

Yeah, but Kyle is the perfect type of player for a viewer. Him and Devin carried the season last year, and Kyle is doing a lot of the heavy lifting again this season.

Meh who needs friends when you win every other year. Lol

Never! Lol

Tbf Kyle is uncoordinated as a MFer and never does cardio. Josh has drastically improved his overall game, but mentally he is a bum.

The Mechie win is also one of the worst/ugliest wins we have ever seen too.

I just remember Kyle beasting that comp where they had to farmer carry something heavy a long distance, which displayed a very impressive mix of cardio and strength.

Errrybody always sleeping on Kyle. He'd be top third of guys for me, especially if he makes another final this year.

Im mostly going by Him and Josh were talking on the aftershow about how Kyle was running with Josh who was carrying like 50 lbs, and Kyle couldnt keep up. And that Kyle never really works out. He does seem to be one of those types that in pressure situations just keeps going though. So I could be wrong.

I really dislike him, but I do agree Josh has improved a lot, I do think he's mentally weak when it comes to eliminations and would crash and burn in a final.

Josh would need a really good female running mate to win. If it's solo, he'll choke somewhere along the line.
