MTV's "The Challenge" Thread

Searched it and had the episode spoiled, unfortunately. Some people are finding it on youtubetv under the Extras option when you go to the series. I do not have an Extras option.

@n_huffhines Go to episodes, click seasons, scroll to the bottom and you’ll find extras.

I’m watching it now

Good episode. Surprised at some of the results during that daily. How did Cara fall so quickly? Theo seems like he should be a much better athlete than he is.

Johnnys temper tantrum was funny. Glad to see other cast calling him out in confessionals. He’s not used to not being able to politic to the final.

Nia I’m disappointed in. I’ll never understand how these challengers who do season after season don’t get better at basic math. Every season there’s multiplication problems they have to solve and they always act like it’s calculus.

Please give us a Jordan vs Johnny elimination next week. Would be fun.

It wasn't recorded for me either and dang if I can remember how I found it. Think I went to library then most watched tab. It wasn't listed as battle of the era's just the challenge

Jordan low-key is the biggest snake in the house. He has loyalty to no one. IDC if he plays both sides, tries to fly under the radar all the way to the end (which is fkn boring TV), let's other people do his dirty work, etc...but in the DR, he ***** on people for doing the same stuff he does. Nia was on Bananas pod and talked about how hurt she is by Jordan. She blamed herself for not talking more game with him. She understands why she would be 5th on his roster (because the other girls are stronger). But the fact that he couldn't be honest with her when she asked him about it has her upset.

IDK how he skates by like this. I love to hate Devin because he's shady as hell. Other people love to hate Johnny because he's a villain. But few people hate Jordan and he's maybe the biggest POS out of all of them. I don't hate him. Maybe it's the hand thing?

Oh yeah, and Johnny explained why Nia went up instead of Cara Maria....he made a deal with Cara Maria and Johnny keeps his word, even when it's CM.

It was funny to see Kyland crying at Johnny like Johnny owed him something. Kyland has made it clear he's not with Johnny from day 1.

Good episode last night. Im not surprised Laurel didn’t do well in an endurance game, because she doesn’t look to be in great shape. But I am surprised she quit.

I liked the elimination. But I do kind of wish they eliminated the hi/low portion. Just have it they set the bars and the first one back to the circle got to put in two.

Two giveaways that Theo was gonna lose… it’s highly skewed elimination for smaller guys (like the hall brawl is for bigger guys) but also, early in the program when they were showing pics of Theo with his son etc. Those type montages are usually fairwell pieces for players. As solid an indicator that it’s their last episode as you can expect.

I agree the hi-lo thing needs to go, but would prefer they keep something like that...perhaps a math question? I mean, Johnny did fail the test when he went "hi" on a 10, LOL. Some people are just resolved to go with their gut, but I always go with the odds, if I know them.

Laurel is a great Challenger because she is the total package, but she's never been a huge threat as an individual in a final, and she's an old gray mare at this point.

I really can't stand Cara Maria.

Tory has always been bae, but I'm over her this season. She wants Johnny to apologize for going after her ally who was targeting him? What is she on?

I've been up and down with Michelle, but OMG, she is such a baby. Can't cheer for your friends around her? WTH

I'm hoping for a Rachel, Aviv, and Jenny in the final 3, but IDK how I feel about Jenny. I like her underdog status this year, but something about her irks me.

I was over Cara Maria years ago. Totally dug her when she was the underdog but idk what season it was, but she kept trying to have one on one sit downs with girls who voted her into an elimination as if they had to explain themselves. I think basically I start to dislike anyone who is a career challenger and who whines or demands explanations as to why others vote them in. I get if your ally back stabs you, but otherwise stfu.

Not many of the remaining cast evoke strong emotions from me. I obviously don’t want Johnny to win. I think I’d say I’m rooting for Jordan. Kyland seems like a good candidate too. I like how he plays. Same with Rachel.

I’m guessing those would be my ideal 3 to win- one of those three.

And yeah, Tori… idk. Something about her I’ve never really gravitated to.

Johnny finally has **** to say about Laurel. Paraphrasing:

You dashed Emily's dream by throwing a comp because you didn't want to see her in a final, even tho she was my 2nd closest ally. Furthermore, you're not even in shape for final and turned out to be a quitter. Your social game was incredibly messy and I go to bat for you time and time again on this season and on my pod and you give me 1 karma point....I was floored.

Good episode. Likes the daily and the elimination but wished we could’ve seen all the letters so we could’ve tried to solve it at home 😂

Liked who she picked as the targets.

Never tell The Challenge producers you are good/bad at something. Olivia is dyslexic and Michelle is better TV right now? How about a word puzzle. LOL

Johnny is so petty and the non-Angels don't understand that they are feeding his ego. All their conversations were about him this episode. It was so pathetic. Bro's head must be so big. I can't believe Michelle. Even when Aviv confronted her, she blamed Johnny. On the surface, you wonder why Michelle would go for a guy like Devin but then you realize they're a lot alike.

Might as well give the $ to Jordan now.

Johnny is 42, too. Which makes it even weirder.

And idk… rooting for Jordan but Kyland is a real threat. Plus if it’s only one true winner, I wouldn’t sleep on Rachel or Cara.

Also, just want to reiterate how annoying Josh is. Literally tries to be everyone’s buddy.

Give me a Johnny vs Josh elimination next week and I’ll be happy with whoever goes home.
